About
Positive Women’s Network – United States of America (PWN-USA) is a national membership body of women (trans and cis), gender diverse and transgender people living with HIV working to build power and achieve policies and programs grounded in racial justice, gender justice, and human rights. We are unapologetically committed to Black liberation, trans liberation and reproductive justice, which includes abortion access and gender affirming care.

Policy & Advocacy
We are the only national organization in the U.S. led by and for women (trans and cis), gender diverse and people of trans experience living with HIV. Founded in 2008 by 28 diverse folks living with HIV, including cis and trans women. Today, we have 3,000 members nationwide, with chapters in Alabama, Colorado, Louisiana, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas. Every day, Positive Women’s Network – USA inspires, informs, and mobilizes women (trans and cis), gender diverse and transgender people living with HIV to advocate for changes that improve our lives and uphold our rights. In addition to federal advocacy, PWN-USA supports regional chapters to build leadership at a local and state level.
