About
Our work has increased awareness of how child welfare intersects with various systems. Through our collaborations, we have developed a greater interest in advocacy efforts. We organize meetings and town halls to encourage family involvement.
Additionally, we foster collaborative relationships and partnerships with elected officials, teaching families how to connect with their representatives. We maintain strong connections with community-based organizations (CBOs) statewide.
Each year, we partner with CBOs to advocate in New York City and Albany for important legislation such as Family Miranda Rights, the Anti-Harassment bill, the Preserving Family Bonds Act, and more.
