About

Ascending Healing & Justice is a project of InTuned Consulting. We are a survivor-led healing circle created by Ashley De Anna Albert for parents who have not reunified with their children and are still navigating the legal landscape, case plans, court systems, and ongoing state surveillance in order to remain present in their kids’ lives.

The mission is to create a brave, trauma-informed, culturally rooted space where parents can process the profound grief, ongoing harm, and daily fight to stay connected to their children while navigating the family policing system.

The circle exists to make sure that parents who were denied reunification — the most invisibilized and unsupported group — have a place to heal, learn, and rebuild their power.

Support

  • Healing & Wellness

Ascending Healing & Justice is a survivor-led healing circle created by Ashley De Anna Albert for parents who did not reunify with their children and remain entangled in the family policing system. The circle provides trauma-informed healing, legal navigation support, emotional resilience building, and narrative power development for parents navigating the civil family death penalty.

  • Community Defense

Survivor-led support for parents navigating the family policing system after TPR. Provides grounding, safety planning, court and visitation preparation, and strategies to stay connected to children. Community Defense strengthens parents’ ability to resist state harm and remain present in their children’s lives.

  • Policy & Advocacy

Lived-experience–driven narrative and policy work that centers parents who did not reunify. Includes legislative education, testimony, and narrative change initiatives such as Stolen Children’s Month, shifting public understanding of family separation and advancing reforms rooted in healing and justice.

  • Technical Assistance

Training, curriculum design, and capacity-building for organizations seeking to better support system-impacted parents. Offers trauma-informed, culturally grounded guidance on developing survivor-led programs, improving practice, and centering lived expertise in organizational policy and service delivery.
